Spring ThawIt was a very windy day and the ice on my lake was melting when I managed to take this photo. The ice had broken up overnight and was actually in the form of small ice cubes something I had never seen before or since. As the wind churned the cubes of ice to and fro, I noticed this leaf lying on the surface and surrounded by red berries from the tree it had fallen from.
