Cored Marble TableA huge block of white marble is drilled out to produce a cylindrical shaft or core of solid marble to create the base for this beautiful table. These 'cored' bases are left in a rather unpolished state (not highly polished as most marble is) to contrast with the smoothness of the round tops.
