A Rare Chinese Brass Flail, Kau Sin KeOrigin: Chinese Period: Late Nineteenth Century Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1895 1900 Full Length: 57 inches Handle Length: 7 inches The cloth bound handle with double loop ends, one suspending a chain terminating with punch struck hexagonal weight. Nine section chains were the standard for flails and this example is no different, the whole in very sound condition, whilst the cloth handle is a particularly nice feature as it has remained in tact.
