The tactility, the handmade and the act of labour involved in both printmaking and weaving, as well as the idea that every thought, feeling, and emotion is woven into each Kakahu (Mori cloak) to embody the Mauri. (Life force) In this cloak, with the feathers flicked out, the bird can fly again.
