VINTAGE 'PLIA' FOLDING CHAIRS BY GIANCARLO PIRETTI FOR CASTELLI, 1967The 'Plia' folding chair was designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1967 and features a steel frame and a smokey transparant polycarbonate seat. Notably, Piretti incorporated 'three disc pivot' hinges to enable the unique folding mechanism of the chairs. Anonima Castelli brought these pieces back in production for a retail price of 360 per piece.
